The investment seeks to track the total return performance, before fees and expenses, of the NASDAQ Junior Biotechnology Index.
The index is a rules-based index that consists of a portfolio of the stock of U.S.-listed small capitalization ("junior") biotechnology companies (collectively, "Junior Biotech Companies"). The fund will generally use a "replication" strategy to achieve its investment objective, meaning it will generally invest in all of the component securities of the index in the same approximate proportions as in the index. The fund is non-diversified.
