The Horizon High Income ETF, part of Horizon Funds, is an actively managed fund pursuing current income and capital appreciation. It holds dividend-paying securities such as common and preferred shares, convertible bonds, ADRs, REITs and ETFs, mostly from large US issuers, and sells call options on broad indices such as the S&P 500 to generate income and temper volatility. It also writes covered calls and cash-secured puts and has a modestly defensive tilt.
